The City of Destin’s Adopt-A-Street Program allows local families, businesses and community groups to perform a valuable community service by adopting sections of a street to keep clear of litter and debris. Groups who participate in this program will have their name listed on the cty’s website and signage installed on their adopted street. Get stoked with The Stoked Comedy Hypnosis Show Starring Terry Stokes. Multiple dates are available, including July 22 and 26, at HarborWalk Theater at 10 Harbor Blvd., Unit 234 in Destin.

The My Sweet Blues Music Festival with MC and Host Nikki Demarks starts at noon July 23 at Old Spanish Trail Park at 201 Stillwell Blvd. in Crestview. It will feature The Legendary Willy Mac, Pokey Bear, JD Saunders, Mz. Aretta, a DJ battle and more.

Wild Outdoor Days-Turkey Creek is a free Girl Scouts event for girls of all ages. It is 9-11 a.m. July 23 at Turkey Creek at 340 John Sims Parkway W, in Niceville. This park series will allow girls to explore and participate in fun activities to celebrate the connection between themselves and nature.

Recon Round Up 2022, sponsored by The Earn It Foundation, is a boating and entertainment event supporting Marines. Open to the public, the free event  includes ax throwing and dinner at McGuire's Irish Pub. Veterans and their loved ones are invited to attend.

Kickoff is at 11:30 a.m. July 23 at Jimmy's Pontoon Rentals in Destin. There will be a safety brief before boats head out to Crab Island. It ends at 8:30 p.m.

Indie-soul trio About to Sweat will perform at 7 p.m. July 23 at Al's Beach Club at 1450 Miracle Strip Parkway S.E. in Fort Walton Beach.

Rapper Rich Homie Quan, known for singles like "Flex" and "Type of Way," will perform at 10 p.m. July 23 at the Vibe Nightclub & Lounge at 116 Perry Ave. S.E. in Fort Walton Beach.  Tickets start at $40 on Eventbrite.com.

Ladies Night returns to DeFrance, so leave the significant other and kids at home. Head out for an evening full of door prizes, guest vendors and great deals throughout the store.  Finger foods, desserts and complimentary wine will be served.

The event is hosted by  Emerald Coast Antique Dealers' Association, Downtown Fort Walton Beach, and De'France Indoor Fleamarket Antiques & Collectibles. Hours are 6-8:30 p.m. July 28 at De'France, 230 Eglin Parkway S.E. in Fort Walton Beach.

Okaloosa Island continues its series of summer fireworks. The show begins at 9 p.m. every Wednesday through Aug. 10 on the Boardwalk, 1450 Miracle Strip Parkway, Fort Walton Beach. Organizers suggest making it a dinner and a show with a front-row view from any of The Boardwalk's restaurants, or grab a quick treat and spread out along the beach to watch the fireworks blast off from the pier.

Emerald Coast Theatre Company’s production of “The Tempest” is a family-friendly comedy performed 8-9 p.m. every Thursday through July 28 at the Grand Park, 495 Grand Blvd., Miramar Beach. Wade through the storm to a magical island filled with scaly fish men, woodland sprites, and a powerful wizard pulling all the strings. Sit in the splash zone and experience the action up close - if you dare!

This show is free and open to the public. Bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating. In case of rain, “The Tempest” will be performed at Emerald Coast Theatre Company upstairs in the 560 building on Grand Boulevard.

Grand Boulevard Farmers Market takes place every Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grand Park in the heart of Grand Boulevard in South Walton. Bring your shopping bag and load up on local produce, eggs, jams and pies. Homemade soap, good olive oil, and pickled things are all there for the taking.

Come browse the 30A Farmers Market in Rosemary Beach on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The local farmers market takes place on Sundays year round, and Thursdays throughout the summer months, in North Barrett Square along Scenic 30A.

The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) announced that that the concert performance of Taylor Dayne, scheduled for Thursday, May 26, has been rescheduled to a later date because of inclement weather. Due to the impending inclement weather and for safety and logistical reasons (set-up/concert preparations). The concert is postponed until Thursday, Oct. 13. Tickets will automatically transfer to this new date.
