Warzone has a ton of weapon and an ever-changing meta, so the devs have added a new ‘Recommended Weapon’ feature — here’s how it works.

Warzone has almost 200 weapons to choose from, so if you’re not on top of the meta picks, it can be tough to decide what to run. With Season 4 Reloaded, the devs have included ‘Recommended Weapons’ to help make your loadout decisions.

There’s a new weapon added to Warzone almost every month, and with the game featuring guns from Modern Warfare, Cold War, and Vanguard, the game is fast approaching 200. With the meta constantly changing, it can be difficult to stay on top of the meta picks.

Warzone devs Raven Software are aware of this, so have introduced a brand-new ‘Recommended Weapons’ feature with the Season 4 Reloaded update.

While weapons such as the NZ-41 and H4 Blixen have dominated Warzone for weeks, the Season 4 Reloaded update is set to shake up the meta once again. Sniper Rifle buffs are incoming, and there’s the brand-new Vargo-S Assault Rifle.

This leaves players wondering what weapons to use, but Warzone’s new ‘Recommended Weapons’ feature should help with that. This will mark a handful of the guns that are performing well in each class as ‘Recommended,’ so players always know which weapons are competitive in the meta.

The feature is first being rolled out with the Season 4 Reloaded update and will only appear for some players. But, it should start rolling out to more players as the season goes on.

Which weapons will be recommended is anyone’s guess at the moment, but it’ll likely be Vanguard weapons. Thanks to their ten attachment slots and impressive damage-per-mag, they significantly outperformed Modern Warfare and Cold War weapons in the first half of Season 4, so we’ll need to see if the Reloaded update brings them more in-line.

For more on Warzone’s weapons, Vanguard Zombies camos have finally arrived, and you can unlock the new Liquid Metal camo through the Titanium Trials mode.

Thanks to a buff from the Season 4 Reloaded update, a Warzone expert claims a forgotten Cold War AR is a viable long-range option once again.

While Modern Warfare weapons have earned the bulk of the attention following Warzone’s Season 4 Reloaded update, one expert believes that buffs have made a forgotten Cold War Assault Rifle worthy of recognition as well.

For months, Warzone players have called for weapon balancing changes that would put an end to the focus on Vanguard weapons. Players had come to resent Vanguard weapons as they felt they were being forced into the Warzone meta.

Luckily, Season 4 Reloaded delivered significant buffs to Modern Warfare and Cold War weapons. This has resulted in an extremely diverse weapon meta for the first time in a few seasons.

Players were pleased with the changes to Modern Warfare weapons that made fan-favorite guns like the Kilo viable again. However, a Warzone expert believes that a well-liked Cold War AR can join Modern Warfare weapons as a top-tier option.

Warzone players have fond memories of Cold War’s Krig 6 as a long-range Assault Rifle. The Krig is a steady option that’s easy to wield, but it hasn’t been involved in the Warzone meta for some time now.

Fortunately, Modern Warfare weapons weren’t the only ones to receive a buff in the Season 4 Reloaded update as the Krig 6 was also shown some love.

The forgotten Assault Rifle had its mid damage increased to 26, up from 25 and its headshot locational damage multiplier increased to 1.55, up from 1.5. Although these buffs may not seem like much, Warzone expert WhosImmortal explained that the weapon was already on the brink of being meta before the update.

WhosImmortal claims that the Krig is one of the easiest weapons to use and it still packs a punch: “Its low recoil and solid damage over range, I think brings it back to being one of the top rifles in the game.”

The 15″ CMV Mil-Spec attachment in particular will make the Assault Rifle an absolute laser beam that can compete with other buffed weapons like the Kilo, Amax, and M13.

What’s more, since the Krig used to be a popular weapon, most players will already have the best attachments unlocked. As the content creator explains the class setup is standard for Cold War weapons, further simplifying the loadout building process.

Escaping from a tight situation is no simple task in Warzone but thanks to a genius play, this player makes it look easy.

A Warzone player utilized all the tools at their disposal to pull off one of the greatest escapes Caldera has ever seen.

It could be difficult to think straight when facing a squad of enemy players in Warzone, but some are at their best with their backs against the wall. In this situation, one Season 4 Reloaded player managed to pull off an escape that would have the Ocean’s Eleven team impressed.

Thanks to a Portable Decontamination Station and a well-placed helicopter this Warzone player successfully left his enemies in the dust.

Portable Decontamination Stations were added to Warzone Pacific as a Field Upgrade in Season 2. These stations allow players to create a temporary barrier from gas damage that protects anyone inside the Field Upgrades radius.

From the get-go, players understood that this Field Upgrade provided new and unique ways to finesse your way around Caldera and Rebirth Island. We’ve seen players use it to bide their time in the gas, but one player brought out its full potential by placing it on a helicopter.

The Warzone subreddit enjoys clever plays and this one might just take the cake as a player reverses an awful situation into an advantage.

At the start of the clip, the player is weak and looking for a means to escape. In addition, the gas closes in which leads to even greater damage. After struggling up the ladder they find their way to a helicopter where they have the genius idea to place the PDS on the vehicle.

The combination of PDS and helicopter allows them to escape the gas that would have otherwise killed the player and their teammate. Both miraculously escape the tricky situation and continue their mission of scoring a victory.

One comment pointed out just how narrow of an escape they made as the helicopter continued to take damage from the gas: “How does the helicopter still take damage, even with the PDS? Well played, also!”

It’s clear that most players tip their hats to the OP as they had not seen the PDS used as such an efficient means of escape: “Wow. I didn’t think that would have worked. Nice.”

The CR-56 AMAX is a solid pick in Warzone thanks to buffs, and here’s how to make the best AMAX loadout dominate in Season 4 Reloaded.

The CR-56 AMAX is a formidable Assault Rifle thanks to major buffs, so here are all of the attachments, Perks, and Equipment that you can use to make the best AMAX loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded.

The CR-56 AMAX Assault Rifle’s popularity declined when it was nerfed back in Season 2 Reloaded, but the new Modern Warfare weapon buffs have brought the weapon back to the meta in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded.

It’s one of the best Assault Rifles in Warzone thanks to its impressive damage and range and you can make it into an absolute powerhouse by equipping the right selection of attachments, Perks, and Equipment.

Here’s the best CR-56 AMAX loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded.

We’ll start off our Warzone CR-56 AMAX by equipping the Monolithic Suppressor muzzle and XRK Zodiac S440 barrel to improve its effective damage range, making it ideal for medium-range combat.

The Commando Foregrip will give a boost to both aiming and recoil stability, at the cost of a little movement speed, and the VLK 3.0x Optic is a great optic choice thanks to its 3.0x magnification.

Finally, we’ll cap off the best Warzone CR-56 AMAX loadout with the 45 Round Mag to ensure that you have enough ammunition to eliminate multiple opponents in Caldera, Rebirth Island, and Fortune’s Keep.

Enemies will often throw Grenades, Thermites, and other explosives your way in Caldera, Rebirth Island, and Fortune’s Keep so we recommend equipping the E.O.D Perk for its protection from explosive damage.

You can pick Overkill as your second Perk in order to pair the CR-56 AMAX with a close-range SMG like the H4 Blixen. For your final Perk, you should go with Amped as it allows you to change to your secondary weapon almost instantly.

Equipment-wise, Throwing Knives are a solid option for quick eliminations in tight situations, while Stims give you a much-needed health and speed boost if you find yourself taking too much damage in battle.

The CR-56 AMAX is locked behind a challenge that requires you to score 3 gunbutt kills with an Assault Rifle in 10 different matches. This is particularly easy to do in Modern Warfare’s multiplayer game modes.

Alternatively, if you only play Warzone, you can also complete this challenge in the Plunder or Clash modes. Once the conditions have been met, this weapon will be added to your inventory.

If you’re looking for a great alternative to the best Warzone CR-56 AMAX loadout, then you should absolutely try out the Kilo 141 again as it entered the meta once more alongside the M13.

If you prefer Vanguard weapons, the extremely accurate KG M40 is a solid choice.
